Had to take my son to the UCLA Lab in Westlake for new patient lab work. Was a bit concerned when we first walked in because there were lots of people sitting in the chairs. He signed in and got into the queue. Despite the number of people waiting, they moved them in and out very quickly. We waited only about 10-15 minutes before being called back into a room. We mentioned to them that my son typically passes out when blood is drawn. She very kindly moved us into the room with the reclining chair to draw his blood. She was so GOOD that my son didn't even know she had completed the blood draw when she said "all done". No passing out for the first time ever! The technician was amazing. We will definitely go back to this location for future blood draws.

Hour long wait time to perform a blood draw. Far understaffed relative to patient demand. Your only hope is to pre-book via QLess. Phlebotomists are at least skilled and efficient once you actually get through the line. Facility appears to just need more of them.

I get great service here. It’s newly remodeled and typically not very busy. The wait time has always been reasonable.

No appointments and you have to wait for the security guard to decide to let people line up to sign in on the tablet. Don't know why they just can't let patients sign in when they get there. I was called back- they called my name and told me to go to Bay 1. I also got a text saying to go to Bay 1. Alex, in Bay 1 said he didn't call me. Luckily, the woman next to him drew my blood. Next time I'll ask my Dr. to send the labwork somewhere else.
