I've been at this Pilates studio for almost 2 years and had virtually no issues---until it was time to cancel my membership.
Because scheduling classes was getting increasingly difficult and I was having trouble using up my units within the required time period, I decided that it was no longer worth the money.
I emailed the studio at the end of January to request a cancellation, and a few days later, at the beginning of February, they sent me an online form to make the cancellation official.
After receiving no cancellation confirmation for a few days, I reached out again, and was told that they were looping in management. This confused me as I had thought the cancellation would be pretty straightforward. So, I went to the studio to inquire in person, and was told that they had a new policy beginning in February that required 30 days notice to cancel and that I would be billed for the next month.
I was feeling pretty frustrated at this point, so I reached out to the manager and requested that they waive this policy in this case since I had actually requested a cancellation in January but that no one had gotten back to me until February.
I received a response 3 days later informing me that if I cancelled my membership, I would need to forfeit any open credits. Keep in mind that these are credits I paid for already, and that the only reason I had one open was I was on the waitlist (because classes were that hard to schedule).
In the end, they processed the cancellation after the date they were originally insisting on to accommodate my request, but the overall experience was still soured.
To be fair, I think this has more to do with Club Pilates as an overall company than this specific location. But it makes no sense to me that any gym or studio would stick to such awful practices.
I was planning to return in the future when I had more time available, so I do feel sad that it turned out this way.

I normally don’t like to write reviews about most companies even tho their not doing tbat great, but in this case I have to say this place needs a lot of changes I am not happy with this place in my first class.
I bought 16 private lessons and I didn’t start with my lesson right after, after few weeks whenever I started with my class is always problems either the personal trainer schedule not matching with me or whenever I had things coming up( like Holliday I have to take my daughter travel) I have to rescheduled my class there is no one could help only could contact the Manager Mak , and even I write the email to Mak every time I rescheduled my class, but they never had recorded about how many classes I took or canceled, the trainer didn’t have exactly recorded how many classes I did too . So no one had any record about my classes.
After thanksgiving holiday I was trying to book classes with my trainer but she said I had no credit anymore this is so crazy and frustrated to me , so I trying to contact with manager and no one contacted me after a week later they said I have 2 classes left but I know I definitely had more classes left at least 6 or 7 classes but they don’t have any records
And then i think my trainer told the Mak we only did 8/9 classes but the manager Mak said she had hard time to track my classes
Since here the service is really bad I change my mind I booked personal trainer classes in Equnox and they have Pilate classes there too
I hope you guys figure it out soon how many classes I did here and please return my left class money back that’s all I need
Thanks
But I just really hard to believe this, I felt like Pilate club is a big company but you guys just fix customer’s problem is like this way?
