    The clinical data keeps building in support of a correlation between strength training and lower odds of dementia and cognitive decline. My doctor suggested I add strength training to my exercise routines, so I looked for the closest option in hopes convenience would help me commit to the practice. Luckily, a friend suggested the Solana Beach Perfect Workout. It’s been a great experience all around. My hip strength is improved so I no longer ache after 3 miles walking. But my core and upper body strength is improved as well. The trainers, working with me one-on-one, are unfailingly upbeat and encouraging. Scheduling and parking is a snap - sounds trivial but they are factors in what makes this place work! Importantly - unlike Pilates studio policies - your prepaid sessions don’t expire with a calendar expiration date, instead they roll forward until you use them up.

    Perfect workout has been a great benefit to me as I focus on strength training. It has allowed me to strengthen my body and continues to help me be active in the things I enjoy. Over the past 6 years, I have gotten stronger and recovered quickly from surgery, knee pain and broken bones. While surgery was recommended, developing strength in my legs has pretty much eliminated my knee pain. I have also been able to slowly loose weight as I gain muscle. The twice a week short sessions are easy to maintain and all the personal trainers have been great. Encouraging and pushing me to stay fit and active.
