I never thought Mondays could be my favorite day of the week, but Megan’s SLO Flow Yoga class at Yoga Six is something I do not miss.. it’s the best way to start the day and the week. I am 54 and SLO Flow and Saturday’s mobility class with Abby are helping me find more comfort in my movements, flexibility in my joints and balance in my day to day experience. I LOVE Yoga Six! I also love to see both Michelle’s when I walk in. Their warmth and helpfulness is like gold in this world.

My sciatica and carpal tunnel wrist pain (both wrists) has been greatly diminished thanks to yoga in general. I am so happy with the results I’ve seen over the last 2 months with YogaSix.
YOU NEED TO STICK TO THIS FOR AT LEAST TWO MONTHS
I have worked at a desk for several years and have developed tightness around my hips and hams that was painful. I was looking for a way to build strength, flexibility and balance to improve simple tasks within my day-to-day life. Below is a high-level overview on each instructor and how they as a whole have helped me achieve this:
Megan: she keeps the flow easy to remember and is consistent. Her early morning 6am class is always a treat and leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day.
Cathy: she varies the flow and keeps her class challenging. I credit her with teaching me a proper chaturanga (using my knees) which has helped me with overall strength. Her sculpt class is tough, but will shred saddlebags along the hips which has been the case for me. Not easy but worth it!!
Abby: I’ve only taken a few classes with Abby but they are challenging. I attribute my improved breath work to her (holding poses for long periods can be hard) but she constantly reminds you to breathe which is very important.
Michael: he is the only instructor that has broken down crow pose into an attainable position by using blocks and has a gift for breaking down poses into manageable pieces. Has the best music playlists :) he is wonderful at breaking down difficult positions.
Tom: while I’ve only taken one class, I was incredibly happy with the focus on the wrists as I have struggled with carpal tunnel for several years. He incorporates unique positions which I look forward to developing.
Maya: very hard short circuit (45min) class. Great upbeat instructor with awesome music. Her abs section was incredibly tough but very much worth it.
Michelle and Michelle: these two ladies work the front desk with a smile every day which is nice to see.
Contructive Feedback:
I just wish they would hand out cold towels for everyone during shavasana especially during the hot yoga/sculpt sessions. This was my favorite part at a previous yoga studio back in NY and I wish we had it here. Usually the instructors walk around with an aroma towe but if you are towards the end of the room, the nice scent has worn off by the time they get to you.
I also wish they would not charge unlimited monthly members cancellation fees. Because of this, I only book classes about 15 min before they start, once I’m on my way.
Overall I am happy with the experience and truly believe in this practice and its ability to help build strength, balance and flexibility while helping manage pain.
Thank you!!

I’ve been taking classes at the studio for over a year. All instructors are great and very helpful. I like having online access to my account and keeping track of my activities.
I come out of each class rebalanced and refreshed!

I’ve been to a lot of yoga classes and a couple of other Yoga Six studios and this one is the best! The whole experience is relaxing from the friendly greeting at the front desk to the cool, eucalyptus towels after a flow practice. The teachers are knowledgeable and friendly and the other yogis are super welcoming. I love coming here and highly recommend it!
One thing I’ve noticed and this is not unique to Yoga six but there are no longer hands on adjustments. I am not sure if it’s an effect of the pandemic or other reasons but for someone who likes to know where I’m lacking, it is something I miss!
