My wife and her friend went on their usual Sunday grocery shopping at Vons at 1855 Cochran St. In Simi Valley, CA. on Sunday Dec 5, while at the cashier they were attended by the store manager and were treated in a very rude and un-professional manner, he's lack of people skills was so bad along with he's rude behavior, as he used retaliatory tactics in making them wait over 30 minutes for a price check. Shame on VONS supermarkets for allowing this kind of behavior specially coming from the store manager, This is not acceptable and only creates mistrust from customers, knowing that VONS personal discriminates against inoffensive woman and yet they spend over $250 in groceries and treated in a rude an hateful manner. VONS deserved a 0 rating on yelp. please be aware their senior staff is rude and will never shop there again, this ratting will remain and will continue to pop in until a formal apology or change is made towards their customer policy.

Tl;dr Will harrass you with phone calls, give you attitude and return your prescription after confirming a pick up. First, I'm a full time grad student while working full time with rotating shifts. I literally have to plan every minute of my day. Now when the pharmacy calls me EVERYDAY, TWICE A DAY, FOR 2 WEEKS knowing that i have a simple prescription with, it's not a major priority. I thought i made the calls stop when I eventually took their call while I was in the middle of work. I told them to drop the prescription and I'll find another convenient way to get my meds and how it seemed a little excessive to be calling that many times without a response. I thought it'd stop. Nope! I got ONE more last attempt the next day telling me that it was the last day to pick it up. So I tell her to just fill it and i reluctantly plan to go pick it up the same day. She mentions they close at 5pm and I say ok. I finally get to the pharmacy at 4:30 thinking "ok let's just get this over with and get my refills somewhere else". I get to the counter annoyed and have the most obnoxious clerk ever tell me that they return prescriptions if they're not picked up by 4pm. Yea. 😐 To the Asian girl behind the counter, NO ONE can UNDERSTAND you CLEARLY behind an N95 mask with a plexi window in between even when you're 4ft away MUMBLING. SPEAK CLEAR-ER. The pandemic has been going on for how long and you're somehow qualified to handle people's medications, work in the service industry and haven't figured out how to annunciate yourself with a mask on your face? The attitude was, also, unnecessary knowing that you've clearly wasted my time. Learn some empathy and manners and lose the attitude since you're in the SERVICE industry. 💁‍♀️
