I have chronic pain due to fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos (a connective tissue disease) and other physical issues that sometimes make it difficult to get around. Anyway I brought my prescription to him and the first thing he did was look me up and down and asked me who it was for. I responded that it was for me and again, he looks me up and down and precedes to ask me what I “needed” it for! As my mind jumped through how I should respond to his unnecessary questions I finally answered that it was for some medical conditions. The next thing he does is laugh at me and tease me because my left hand is in a cast and my right hand is in a splint. I left embarrassed and ashamed. Very uncomfortable situation.
