There’s a female pharmacist that works here, that has the absolute worst attitude! She’s extremely rude and incredibly unprofessional. I’m genuinely thinking of switching pharmacy location, because this lady is an absolute nightmare. Every single time I have to deal with her on a call or in person, she always manages to get me angry. And reading the reviews, it seems I’m not the only one that has experienced her unprofessionalism. She needs to go, or get more people training, because it’s absolutely ridiculous at this point.

I have been going to the Marlow pharmacy for about a year, and usually have a fine experience. This last time I went in, there was a new, older woman pharmacist, whom I've never seen, and in my personal opinion, has probably the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. I went in to pick up my prescription that I was told was ready and she refused to give it to me. She said it would cost $84 and when I tried to explain that not only do I need this prescription and don't have that money, that it is covered by my insurance and I've never paid for it before, she yelled at me to get out of the pharmacy. I was about to walk out without my usual prescription, and suddenly she told me it would be $45. She did not explain the sudden price change or where it came from. I ended up leaving, and calling my doctor who told me to call the pharmacy in a few days and try again. I throughout the next couple of days got many texts that my prescription was now $36. I am still very confused on all the price changes. However upon calling I got it sorted out about a week later. Another case with the same pharmacist happened a few days later. I went into the Marlow Safeway Pharmacy with my mother to pick up her prescription. The same older lady new pharmacist was working. She was helping an elderly woman who was speaking Spanish and very broken English. The pharmacist then yelled at the old woman to "Speak English" or to "Learn how to speak English". Which is unacceptable to say to anyone. She then proceeded to kick that woman out of the pharmacy as well. I think this pharmacist doesn't know how to handle people, especially older people, which I believe is the primary customer base. I think this pharmacist either needs new training, anger management, or to be fired. What she is saying to customers reflects badly on this Safeway, and personally makes me not want to go there.

I love this pharmacy. They helped me change all my prescriptions from a different pharmacy, they have interacted with my doctors and have been nothing but helpful and nice to me. I am 87 and get confused sometimes and they are patient with me. I am so glad I made the change. And I seldom have to wait.
