Worst quality glasses I've bought. I've been wearing glasses for over 10 yrs. Every year I get two pairs because my insurance allows me two discounts every cycle. I decided to try them out last year since they were the only ones carrying the frames I wanted. I paid for transition authentic Ray-Bans and they gave me knock offs instead. I went back and the lady was able to fix the issue. The next ones I received lasted about a month before they started to "craze". Crazing means a lot of swirls and marks appear on the surface making the vision very blurry. When I took them back the guy said it was because I exposed them to the sun. THEY ARE TRANSITION GLASSES. They're supposed to do that. I had the protection plan and I was able to get them done again. When the new ones arrived the guy who installed them into the frames scratched them from the bottom but I didn't make it a huge deal because I needed them so badly Guess what? They didn't last a month when the exact same thing started to happen they are crazed again. I own about 15 pairs of glasses. Every year they scam me with the "prescription needed" so every year I have to get a new prescription. That's fine, my Insurance takes care of it. But out of 15 pairs of glasses. Why do only this ones have this issue? The technician had an objection for every question I had. For example, he asked me what I cleaned them with. And I said, with the cloth you provided. He then said I shouldn't do that because the cloth gets dirty and scratches the lenses. I said, but I have multiple cloths and I usually wash them. He then said that also damages the fibers in the cloth. Like, what am I supposed to do then? I feel like he was trying to blame me for everything. The truth is that whatever process they go through doesn't have quality control. Never ever going back. I wasted money and time

I’ve been in the customer service industry for almost 20 years. I’ve visited this particular LensCrafters twice already and each time I’m amazed of the customer service that both Susan and Tracy have given. Ownership and management should give these two a raise!

I had a very good experience with Lenscrafters Santa Rosa and the in house optometrist company (Dr. Courtney Ray Professional). Dr. Jasmine Nguyen was excellent. She took great care to give me the best correction possible, including an Rx for computer work. Personable and caring. I highly recommend. The Lenscrafters staff were knowedgeable and very helpful.

One of the screws came out of a pair of my favorite sunglasses (from the Diff brand) and I brought them in here and asked if they could fix them and they found the perfect sized screw to replace it at no charge. So thankful I don’t have to throw these away!! Thank you the the gentleman who helped me. Much appreciated :)

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
