  I saw Dr. Shami for a microdiscectomy. From the first appointment to my post opp it has been an excellent experience. I had suffered with back pain and sciatica for years. After exhausting conservative treatments I was ready to try surgery to fix my herniated disc. Now 2-weeks post surgery, I am pain free for the first time in years.

  Iwas referred to this rehabilitation clinic for physical therapy related to lumbar spine issues and significant sitting intolerance. The evaluation followed a standard lumbar-focused approach, but my documented coccydynia and tailbone-related pain were not clearly integrated into the treatment discussion or plan. The evaluation process and positioning also made me feel uncomfortable, and my primary pain concerns were not fully addressed. I later requested reassignment through insurance and continued care with a provider whose approach was more aligned with my full condition. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this location.

  My husband had a spinal fusion surgery with Dr Lu. Dr Lu was amazing, his staff was amazing, our entire experience was AMAZING. Even our arrival on surgery day was impressive, from the doorman to the discharge nurse. We'll never go anywhere else. Can't say enough.
