Great experience at UCLA Orthopaedic Clinic. We walked in with my son, and everything moved surprisingly fast and smoothly. Within about 3 hours, we had imaging done, a diagnosis, and a cast in place — very efficient, especially for a walk-in. The team was professional and organized throughout the process, which makes a big difference when you’re dealing with an injury. Everything felt well coordinated from start to finish. Pro tip: Even as a walk-in, the process is streamlined — just come prepared to spend a couple of hours, but know you’ll be in very good hands

$1220 bill for a 10 minute consultation on my foot-- absolutely no evaluation I don't think they even cared. Said it was turf toe maybe or sesamoid bone inflammation maybe and just see where I am in a month. Yes, that was the diagnosis. I just have no clue how this cost could be justified. And yes, it was in network.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here deserves one. I was referred for persistent elbow swelling and charged $750 for a brief consultation where no meaningful evaluation or treatment plan was offered. I was told to either get an MRI or to “wait it out,” despite paying a premium specialist rate. Between the specialist visit, required X-ray charges, and radiologist fees, this single appointment cost me well over $1,100 out of pocket... for no actionable medical guidance. I understand specialists are expensive, but there was no transparency about pricing or what I would owe. If you are a patient trying to make informed decisions, be aware that costs may be extremely high and not aligned with the level of care or outcome. I left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and financially taken advantage of. I would recommend asking for full cost estimates in writing before scheduling.

Expect very long wait times and plan to pay for parking. I didn’t get to see my doctor until an hour after their scheduled time

Security guard was wired and kindly rude, I was there around 2:30 pm this would be the day shift, he gad dark dark black hair and he is not worth me explaining he's rudeness but I bet you a million bucks he would not had of treated a white person that way. My son was brought there by ambulance I wanted them to take my son to his normal medical center which is Kaiser but we ended up ay UCLA terrible not like what it used to be. Then the ER is disgusting and nasty look like a jail it was disgusting.
