The lab opens at 7am. I arrived at 6:50am and waited which was not a problem. Once inside, the machines to check in were not turned on, but after a few minutes the machines turned ON at 7:03am ,so I checked in.
Tip: when asked on the Check In machine, only select 1 reason for the visit , not 2, otherwise your Check In will not be registered. I had to wait until a person arrived at the front desk to ask why I couldn't complete checking in, then suddenly, my phone # was in LINE on the monitor!
When I was called back for my blood drawn, I told the staff, I also need to also leave an urine sample. This was when I learned the Check In software can only handle 1 reason for the visit. Because I selected 2 things that needed to be done, the software couldn't handle it and booted me off. Bottom line, the staff made a label for me and gave me a canister and instructions. So if you have more than just a blood draw, just select blood draw and tell the staff you have another thing you need to do..
Overall this visit was fast and easy, except for the snafu on Checking In without any staff assistance.
