I’ve seen two doctors here (Dr. McCall and Dr. Dmowska) and both experiences with the doctors and staff were excellent. They were kind, attentive, and most importantly they were patient with my questions and concerns. I’ve really struggled with healthcare services in LA but I’m so grateful I found this practice.

My experience with Dr. Andrew McCall was quite disappointing. From the very beginning, the visit felt superficial. I entered, explained my issue in just a few seconds, and the doctor spent barely a few more seconds looking into my ear with an otoscope. He also pressed it too hard, which caused pain and redness afterward—something I didn’t have before the exam. In addition, he didn’t perform any of the more thorough tests that would have been appropriate in my situation, such as checking my balance or doing basic neurological assessments, especially since I had been experiencing dizziness and had already used antibiotic ear drops. He skipped all of these steps and then wrote a report that doesn’t reflect how brief and superficial the actual visit was. In conclusion, I can’t consider this a professional or complete medical examination. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone looking for a careful and detailed evaluation.

I'm extremely disappointed and strongly recommend that people look elsewhere for an ENT. I expected better from UCLA health. I was referred here by primary care physician to get a consult for my snoring. It took me two months to get an appointment. I was assigned to Dr. Holliday. They stressed that I should get there 15 minutes early so I did. I sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes until my appointment and then when I was put in a room to wait for the Dr, I ended up sitting there for 40 minutes waiting for anyone to come talk to me. About 20 minutes in I walked outside to go find a nurse to see if they had forgotten about me. The nurse apologized and said the Dr would be in soon but it took another 20 minutes. By the time he finally came into the room I could tell he was stressed from being so behind. He apologized but I felt so rushed from the second he stepped in the room and I did not receive the time or level of care that I would expect from a medical professional. I agree with the other reviews that it seems like they are constantly running behind and as a result, the quality of care from this office is extremely poor. Ultimately I was told to use a nasal spray and nose strips (that I have already been using for 6 months and 5 years respectively) in combination for a month and then come back for another appointment. I ended up paying a bit over $500 to be told that I should use two over the counter products that I have been trying for years. Unbelievable. THEN, I made a follow up appointment for the next month. I didn't yet know how much my medical bill would be, so I took his advice and booked a follow up. A few weeks later, his office called me to tell me they had to cancel my appointment and I needed to rebook. It can take months to even get an appointment and they cancel so late? Shortly after, I got my bill and decided not to come back. Great scam they're running here. 15 minute consultation for advice I could get from a wellness blog and I pay over $500 out of pocket.
