Wait times are ridiculous. I waited for 4 months to receive a call that the doctor is not available, and the next appointment is in 6 extra months. Will never recommend this location.
Dr. Taw, The acupuncturist and the entire staff are wonderful! Prompt care, have helped with scheduling challenges and they’ve helped in the treatment of back pain significantly!
Never going back. I had to wait five months for an acupuncture appointment. During my visit, I was told the senior physician would be stopping by afterwards. After my treatment, the physician stopped by and spent five minutes with me. She recommended an herb and a qigong video. For this they billed my insurance $1,296, and me an additional $80 beyond the $30 co-pay I was expecting to pay. I don't understand how this clinic can legally and ethically charge $1,296 for these services. The average cost of an initial acupuncture/Chinese medicine doctor is between $100 and $300. I feel manipulated and taken advantage of. I filed a complait with my insurance company and am interested to see how they follow up.

I suffer from a debilitating autoimmune condition and drove nearly an hour in traffic to my appointment today, only to be told upon arrival that I had no appointment. They claimed to have left me a voicemail a week ago, but I never received it. I even checked my phone while I was there, and there was no record of a call or voicemail from the clinic.
I not only waited months for the appointment, but due to my chronic health issues, it was much needed. This is just one added hurdle for me to navigate now.
Despite UCLA protocol requiring messages to be sent through the MyChart system for accountability, they failed to do so. Martha at the front desk was dismissive and rude, insisting that since a voicemail was left, it wasn’t their problem. When I escalated the issue to Jackie, the supervisor, I received the same response—just a repeated claim that a voicemail was left. I told her that system did not seem to be a very good one to be put in place.
There was no acknowledgment of their lack of accountability, and based on my experience, I should have trusted my instincts and avoided this clinic, especially after seeing all the complaints in other reviews. Obviously, I will not be returning and my husband‘s appointment for the following week was canceled. For much of my life, I was lucky to have concierge medicine until we moved. I know I can’t expect the same quality of care from UCLA, but this is unacceptable.

Very pleased. Great place. Wish there were more places like it.
