    This place is the best! It breaks my heart to hear anyone complain about the wait time. Next time, notice that they are logging in and processing everyone in about five minute intervals. They do not, and hopefully will not start scheduling appointments. So, make sure when you come thank them for all that they do and say it loud enough so that the "ungrateful bully" remains silent. Monthly patient for nearly four years.

    Disappointing and Unacceptable Treatment of Disabled Patient I am writing this review with immense disappointment after a decade of positive experiences at this UCLA Phlebotomy Lab. My wife is a stroke survivor with aphasia (communication difficulty) and a physical disability affecting her right side. She also has a history of difficult "rolling veins." For over 10 years, the staff here has been exceptionally kind, patient, and successful with her blood draws—until today (December 9, 2025). The first nurse who assisted her today (name tag not visible) showed an astonishing lack of patience and professionalism. When my wife attempted to communicate crucial needs—to tighten the band and that she must manually hold her own arm due to her disability—this nurse grew visibly frustrated, repeatedly told her to "relax," and ultimately refused to provide the service. This disrespectful treatment of a patient with a clear disability was shocking and unacceptable. My wife was left crying. Thankfully, a second nurse intervened quickly and demonstrated the patience and compassion we have come to expect. She listened to my wife, accommodated her needs, and successfully completed the draw. Management must address this serious issue. Lack of patience and refusal of service toward a disabled patient is a grave concern. We are now reconsidering using this lab despite all our doctors being in the same building.

    The place is fine and all for my blood draws but they never answer the phone and I really need to get a hold of them.

    Darcie, phlembatomist at this lab, had a calmness to her. I am a difficult draw and she gave me such comfort. She has drawn my blood several times and I appreciate her professionalism. She has been able to draw my blood in such a way that I am relaxed. Darcie sure appears to love her job!
