If you’ve just had eye surgery and are ready for glasses, please avoid this location. Prices are significantly higher — about $150 more for the exact same product you can get elsewhere. They initially promise to “make things right,” then change their mind. Document everything. My experience showed that verbal assurances don’t hold up. Do NOT bring your frames in for new lenses. They threw away my original lenses without permission, which effectively forces you to stay with them because you no longer have your originals. I paid $654 for those lenses, and they were my property. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same thing.

Have came here for many years and probably have spent a couple thousand by now lol! Came today to get my prescription and pd score from my last order from around 6 month ago. The moment i told them I didn't want a quote on new glasses Ms. Candice didn't want to give me my PD distance from my last order with them.

Everyone there is great except when I was there last week I believe it was the manager who started yelling and mistreating an older gentleman. I’m not sure if it was because of his race or age but he was simply asking asking her to adjust his glasses and in a condescending, rude, and loud tone says “I don’t understand you” then proceeded to yell at an associate to translate and rolls her eyes at her. I was browsing around for glasses and had to stop to watch the whole interaction because it was very uncomfortable. If you are okay with racism and disrespecting elders this is the place to be. I would no longer come to LensCrafters because if that was my family I would not accept discrimination or disrespect. Do better in hiring capable and kind people.

The pushback I received regarding medically necessary contact lenses was unbelievable. It felt like they simply did not want to do the work involved. I have been wearing contacts since I was 10 years old and need medically necessary lenses. What made the experience even more frustrating was being initially told that this clinic was not covered by my insurance, when I specifically chose LensCrafters because it is covered. After three phone calls, they finally acknowledged that they are in fact associated with my insurance. It has now been six weeks, and throughout this process I have had to chase down answers myself, with little to no communication or updates. What made it worse was being asked whether I could just wear glasses. Because my prescription is so high, glasses make the world curved, so contacts are not a convenience for me, they are a necessity. For something medically necessary, this level of confusion, pushback, and poor follow-through is unacceptable.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
