Horrible just doesn't begin to describe the service, staff, the entire experience. I used to go to Rite Aid near my house and they were fantastic but they closed. I switched to CVS which was much closer to my house than Rite Aid and had horrible experience with their App, so I decided to go to this Safeway which is close to my house as well.
It takes them days to fill a prescription unless you call them. I got a text for refill and I replied Yes and went in and ask them about the status and they said it wasn't due for refill!? I showed them the text and after going through the Abbott and Costello routine with 2 staff members, the pharmacist said she will fill it (it was due for refill based on date originally filled).
Today I called them to follow up on a refill that showed 'In Process' for 3 days so I could pick it up with the other 2 that show ready to go so I don't have to make multiple trips, and after ringing many times I heard a click and it went to music, then another click and started ringing again, then another click to music and the lady gets on saying thank you for holding!? Then she tells me the medicine is not due for refill even though I have only one dose left. OK, then why does it show 'In Process'? I have other medication with refill remaining and they do not show in process, so what the heck?
I don't know why I am giving them 2 stars given the experience, but need to find a half way decent pharmacy with half way decent staff with slightly better service than the local DMV!
Unbelievable!!!
