  Pharmacy staff are exceptional with customer service, knowledge & friendliness. They work very hard at their job & are constantly busy & they’re all very kind & patient people who are devoted to their customers well-being. I am writing this to advocate for the hiring of an additional technician & direct this message to the corporate office that they notice how deserving they are of more staff working during the busiest time of day.

  If I could give zero stars I would. This has got to be the worst experience I have ever had with a pharmacy. They said they couldn't fill my prescription at the dosage - no explanation as to why. Told me to wait longer first then claimed they "didn't know why" they couldn't fill it again the next time. Blamed it on the app not working right. They had my doctor call in a different dose, they still couldn't fill it. They couldn't offer any explanation, why it showed on my app but not in their system. Two days before Thanksgiving they promised to fill it - nope. The other medication showed as ready but not the important one. FOR THREE WEEKS I tried to reach a live person in the pharmacy to no avail. THREE WEEKS! What if I was elderly or had mental health issues and could not get any support like that? I called every day - no one ever answered. I called through the store manager and same thing, when they transferred me it just rang forever. I will be filing a complaint with whatever state agency monitors pharmacies. This isn't how you serve our community.

  I am visiting the area from out of state. The pharmacists here were both wonderful—very helpful both on the phone and in person. They answered all my questions, had my prescription ready promptly, and were friendly and helpful!

  Wow! Shocking! This Safeway just hired another pharmacist who treats customers like criminals instead of medical patients. When will this patient shaming practice end in the industry? If you view everyone as a criminal instead of a person, everything you see is criminal. So de-humanizing to come to this pharmacy. The pharmacy technicians are generally lovely, friendly and helpful people. However, this is at least three pharmacists in a row that are trash humans at this Safeway location. Very sad that there are few other choices for patients in medical need of a decent pharmacist.
