- TKTom/Larry Koerber/Boyd4 days ago5.0I’m so happy we found Home Instead for at home care services. They were exactly what we needed when we needed assistance the most. I suffered multiple fractures in my left knee and had to have replacement surgery. But surgery needed to wait a bit so I could recover and regain some strength before the procedure. After a few weeks in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) I was ready to get back home to my own bed! Eden from Home Instead came to visit me at the SNF to ensure I was ready to return home and prepare for the surgery. My spouse and I couldn’t have been more impressed with Eden’s professionalism, the services that Home Instead offered and the flexibility of scheduling. Everyone at Home Instead was helpful to us when setting up the service. We had Home Instead staff here several times a week for almost three months to allow my spouse time to shop, run errands, and have some time to relax. Every caregiver that came to the house to assist us with everything from getting me out of bed and into a wheelchair to bathing me and keeping me company was super. Rochelle, Mercy, Monica and Lisa were all sweet, nurturing, caring and fun to be around. Life would not have been so comfortable without them here, and their assistance really helped me get ready for surgery. I’ve had my knee replacement procedure and am back on my feet (mostly) but if we find that we need help in the future, we’ll be using Home Instead!

Caregivers are vetted and introduced prior to working with your loved one. They are hardworking, kind & thoughtful people. My mom has received excellent care & has built friendships with the women who help her. The admin staff are great communicators, sending update’s and details around schedule changes etc. Highly recommend.

We needed to move quickly to have someone in with my mom, and Home Instead had someone there 24/7 in a matter of hours. Once I was there, I used them to help support me with caregiving (aka getting some sleep) and it was especially helpful when my mom's needs exceeded what I was capable of, Home Instead stepped in. Christy is incredibly hands-on with checking-in proactively and provided really great fits for care. The 24/7 care was especially experienced and supportive of both my mother and me. Communication with Hospice by the Bay was top notch and I felt like together we provided the best possible care for my mom. Thank you all so much.
