- MMMelissa MNov 4, 20255.0My family was faced with the difficult decision of needing help for our loved one. We set up a meeting with Christy to get a feel for how everything would work and we felt quite comfortable with putting our mother’s care in her hands. A couple months later, we were ready for extra help to step in and we did not regret our decision one bit. We had help from Home Instead for a couple of months and all of the caregivers were amazing! They all took great care of our mother and she really enjoyed their company. Especially wanted to thank Cynthia, Mercy and Suzy for all of their help and showing so much compassion towards our mother and putting a smile on her face. Also, thanks to Christy, Lita and the office team. Every time we called, we felt like part of a family and not just another number. Also, when we needed extra last minute help, they were willing to work with us and were able to find a caregiver for us. Our loved one has passed away but if we know of anyone that needs extra help with their loved ones, my family and I would recommend Home Instead in a heartbeat!

After surgery and several weeks in rehab, she was discharged with limited mobility and the aid of a walker. It was clear that her level of independence had changed, and we needed to ensure her safety and comfort at home. From our very first meeting with Christy at the rehab center, we knew that Home Instead would be the right fit. Christy took the time to listen, answer our questions, and help us feel confident about entrusting someone else with Mom’s care. Christy was truly exceptional—she stopped by the house regularly (often bringing fresh tomatoes and basil from her garden), and always checked in to make sure things were going smoothly. Her warmth and attentiveness meant so much to us. The caregivers from Home Instead were wonderful. They provided care with compassion, empathy, and professionalism, attending to Mom’s needs with patience and kindness. They even joined her every evening for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, which brought her so much joy. We are deeply grateful to Christy and the entire Home Instead team. Their support made all the difference during a very difficult transition and gave our family peace of mind knowing that Mom was in such capable and caring hands.
- SSSamanthaAug 14, 20255.0Hello, I am writing this review for one reason. My mother got sick in February, by April she was on her journey to heaven. I was a mess, only family members left is just my sister. We are 30 and 40 years old. Lost our dad 5 years ago and at this point in my life I couldn't comprehend that my sister and I will have no parents. We were scared, had no idea how to handle this situation. We needed help, so a social worker that was delegating my mom's case with us told us about Home Instead. This was a fast, very helpful gift to help my sister and I. Her name was Helen! It was late at night when she showed up, unfortunately during earlier that day the Hospice nurse told us my mom was in the "tunnel" terminal agitation. One of the scariest moments ever. My mom was not my mom anymore. No food or water for 3 days. She couldn't talk when she would wake up moaning in pain. I was so lost on how to handle my 69 year old 80lbs mother, physically and emotionally. Helen held me and my sister tight and said it going to be ok. She was so sweet to my mom. Read her a book just talked to her while my sister and I got to rest and get our head together on next steps. Helen was so gentle, kind, just a warm soul! Unfortunately, we didn't get much time, 12 hours later she passed away. I couldn't have asked for a better goodbye. I felt at piece. Getting that small rest, thinking of great memories of my mom. To know she went peacefully with the help of Home Instead all the staff there. Everyone i met in that small amount of time was like family, just so gracious with my sister and I. Christy is the manager of this wonderful company! She was so kind, and helpful with everything! If you have a loved one that needs care call Home Instead! I have never been so happy in such a terrible dark time. They will take care of your family members and loved ones with so much heart! They give it their all!
