The team at StretchLab San Mateo is great. I have worked with three felexologists at this location - Hailey, Jordan, Marcus - and they are all very skilled. Scheduling is easy, and they pay attention to what I am experiencing in terms of pain or stiffness on any given day. It's a great help to me and helps me get the most out of my workouts when I stretch with the immediately before or after. As someone living with Parkinson's Disease, the assisted stretch really helps me in ways that I can't stretch on my own and I highly recommend this team if you need similar help.

I've been working with Haley for 6 months, going twice a month for an hour session at a time. She's absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. I have progressive MS and my body can be crazy stiff, but she knows what to do to get the best deep stretch for me. I really do think it helps with my overall range of motion, which can be pretty limited. I use a wheelchair (able to stand and transfer) and she's always willing to give me an extra hand when I need it. Highly recommended! Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful!

I really wanted to like StretchLab, but my experience was incredibly disappointing.
First, I specifically asked to use TrueMed for my FSA payment and was told everything had been completed successfully. Later, I found out it hadn't actually been processed correctly. That was extremely frustrating, especially since I had confirmed it upfront to avoid exactly this kind of issue.
When I contacted the San Mateo team to resolve it, I felt brushed off rather than helped. There was little accountability and no real effort to correct the mistake. It felt like once they had my membership, customer service was no longer a priority.
Second, I found the team to be relatively inexperienced. Some staff didn't seem fully confident in their techniques or in tailoring stretches to individual needs, which didn't inspire much trust.
Between the billing confusion, mishandled TrueMed/FSA payment, dismissive customer service, and overall lack of professionalism, I can't recommend this location. I'd strongly encourage anyone considering signing up to fully understand the billing terms and payment process beforehand.
I plan on using my remaining credits that I cannot get a refund for at the Burlingame location.

The billing and customer service of this StretchLab is basically non existent. I had to cancel my membership due to moving away, and send over my notice, signed the cancellation agreement. First it took them weeks to even acknowledge my cancellation request via email. And then, what’s worse is that they forgot to process the cancellation. So my credit card got charged again. And they’ve since then been avoiding my emails, phone calls asking about the refund I deserve. The one time they finally answered my call, they admitted on the call that they had an email drafted to respond to me to process my cancellation but forgot to send……Yea, how great. So, take your money elsewhere or prepared to be charged to infinity.
The stretching and the flexologists are actually great. It’s just how the handle billing and customer service is horrible!!!
