I just wanted to leave a review because my wife has had such a great experience at Club Pilates in San Leandro. She was a little nervous at first, but that quickly went away. The whole team is welcoming and down to earth, and the instructors do an awesome job of making sure everyone feels comfortable while still getting a great workout. The manager is seriously one of the nicest people you’ll meet. Super friendly, always helpful, and you can tell they really care about the members and the atmosphere of the studio. My wife has seen real results — she feels stronger, more toned, and has way more energy. On top of that, she actually enjoys going, which says a lot. If you’re anywhere near San Leandro and thinking about trying Pilates, I’d definitely recommend this place.

I found the Level 1.5 classes to be the perfect starting point—Level 1.0 likely would have been less challenging. The routines are definitely helping me hit my goals for strength, form, and core definition. I'm loving the classes. I can't wait for them to offer level 2.0. My only small gripes are scheduling (and why it is 4 stars.) While they offer early morning and late classes, they aren't available every day and often full, so you have to stay on top of booking early. Also, I often see empty reformers in 'full' classes. It’s a shame for those on the waitlist! I wish the app sent a 45-minute 'confirm or cancel' reminder to help clear those spots for others. The staff has been pleasant and I’ve had no issues so far. Just be aware of the initial three-month commitment and the required notice period for cancellation. Having come from OrangeTheory and similar boutique gyms, I’ve found that as long as you follow the established policies, the experience is seamless. They do tend to stick strictly to their terms, so don't expect much flexibility if you try to bypass them. So far a great gym the space is consistently clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and I appreciate that they provide sanitizing wipes for everyone to use after class!

For me, it is a waste of membership! First time for a pilate class and I’m very disappointed with how their system work. First of all, not what I expected for a pilate class; never broke a sweat. I signed up for 8 class a month (3 months minimum) and I probably was only able to go to 2, max 3 class per month. No early class. On weekends there’s only a few classes offered. It’s always booked weeks in advance. Truly a waste of money. I am better off signing up for a CLUB PASS. I’m only giving this 1 star because it won’t let me continue with post.

I have been a member of Club Pilates for a few years now, attending studios in Southern California, the Sacramento area, and the Bay Area. In regard to the other post about membership difficulties, I will say that this is typical of all Club Pilates. Communication is always a bit challenging and making changes to membership can be a hassle. You really have to be persistent. At least in my experience. I will say the vibe in this studio is different from the Alameda and Rockridge locations. It definitely does not feel as warm and welcoming. Might not be the best for those just starting out or those who are looking for community.
