  My appointment was made for Saturday at 11:30am and there was no wait time at all. Dr. Wong was wonderful. Even though I have mostly 20/20 vision he didn't make me feel anything negative as he helped me with adjusting a prescription to fit my farsightedness as it turns out I have mild astigmatism making text hard to read without squinting and it also turns out my left eye is a bit better than my right eye. Making it hard to focus as if I close my right eye it's easier to see than both eyes in certain scenarios. He took his time and was very patient with me and double checked with me to make sure the final choice was my ideal prescription. The difference was incredible. The best version of my prescription I've ever experienced resulted in everything so clear I felt emotional. Despite having 20/20 I struggle the most at night. Signs completely washing out against bright lights, many times being completely unable to see dimly lit road lines. Not only was the doctor extremely kind and willing to answer all of my questions, he made me feel validated for being there. Encouragement where other opticians have made me feel guilty for my minor prescription by making light of the fact that there were times I could see clearly and other times I could barely see at all. It was a breath of fresh air. The ladies in the glasses sales area were extremely patient with me despite my girlfriend and her friends being very very particular about what they thought looked good on me via video call. They never made me feel pressured and despite my taking far too long deciding between transition lens colors she was very understanding about how important it was to get what worked exactly for me. I'll add pictures when I get my new glasses, but I ended up saving quite a bit on all the add-ons because they had a Valentine's Day sale(or was it a President's Day sale? Not sure). The frames I wanted alone would have been $227 ish but the took off like $68+ off the frames, an additional $75 off the frames making them only like $83 after savings and then the lenses with blue light filter, super fast transitions, dual focal point zen lenses?, anti-reflective treatment, and whatnot came out to $357 after another small discount. So all in all without insurance it came to $440 with tax. Not including the 1 year protection plan for $35 that I'll pay when I go in to pick up my glasses. I only realized after I got home that I might have been able to try my United Healthcare Medical insurance to see if they would cover something even though I didn't have vision insurance. Well maybe another time. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for my glasses to be finished. So I'll add some pictures when they arrive. I'm excited to not have to squint anymore and be able to drive safer at night.

  The doctor was very accommodating and gentle and gave comprehensive advice. The technology and system was modernized.
