This place is very courteous and checking in my appointment was on-time. The doctor was very thorough and the assistant as well. I was able to get progressive lenses and received a huge discount on the transition lenses. They helped me find a great pair of glasses. I don’t have insurance and so it was a lot but I have no regrets. Recommend this location at Oakridge mall 1000%.

Just had the worst experience despite being a customer already. Since I had cataract surgery on one eye, doctor advised popping out the lens with optician help and replace with a plain glass, until my eye power settles down in a month for new prescription in about a month. We'll, not at Lenscrafters, this one at least - I had to take it to another optician. They needed a new prescription (yes, for the plain glass!) and also overcomplicated this saying they have replace both lenses to match material with estimated cost in $hundreds! I also couldn't appreciate the comments made by the staff (manager I think) when I tried to explain what the doctor office said, which I felt was condescending and unnecessary. I feel sad that a nice brand with real experts behind is unable to take care of me when I need the help most. Guess I got carried away by cleaning and adjusting screws for free!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
