I returned to LensCrafters two weeks after my eye exam to purchase some new glasses. Upon entering the store I was quickly greeted by a staff member and asked how he could be of assistance. His name was Mamraj and he was very helpful in taking me through the various options and prices available. The service was friendly and efficient and there was no pressure to purchase "extras", although several were offered. I have been coming to this office for many years and I have never been disappointed with the service.

We had a really upsetting experience here. The prescription my daughter received was wrong, and it affected her so badly that she was in tears and couldn’t even go to school for three days.
When we brought it up, instead of taking responsibility, we were still charged and told there are no refunds. That’s honestly unacceptable, especially when it’s clearly their mistake and it impacted a child.
I also asked multiple times to have us removed from their system, and they still haven’t done it.
We will definitely not be coming back. Very disappointing experience.

finally a place where you can feel "safe" and not rushed. some eye glass places are strictly appointment only or just Hella rude to you. this place is clean and lots of eye wear to choose from. they helped me with my insurance and got me a nice pair of transitions. finally found my official eyeglass place. because like I said go to some private optometrist and you'll see what I mean. buying glasses shouldn't be a bank like transaction like some optometrist where they don't accept insurance and want to charge you 1000+ for basic glasses. Jesus man. thank God for this place.

I had a great experience at LensCrafters with Eduardo last Saturday. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to explain all the different lens options and price ranges. His professionalism and kindness made the whole process easy, and his customer service truly stood out. I highly recommend visiting LensCrafters and asking for Eduardo; you won’t be disappointed!

Defective Device & Unacceptable In-Store Experience
This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had. I have been a loyal customer of Lenscrafters since I was a teenager.
I am still within the 30-day “Happy Guarantee” policy. (Customer Care did say my 30 days ends on March 22nd.)I came into the store during my lunch break to request an exchange, not a return, because my Meta glasses are defective and frequently do not turn off. This issue occurs on most days and for extended periods. When the device does not turn off, it causes significant discomfort and headaches.
The initial sales representative understood my concern and was willing to help (thank you. I wish I knew your name my friend). However, Team Lead Melissa Chounlamany refused to honor the exchange and stated, “I don’t believe that is happening,” essentially accusing me of lying.
She then incorrectly claimed that the issue was due to prescription lenses, which is not accurate. I have worn prescription glasses my entire life and am fully capable of distinguishing the source of my discomfort. The issue is clearly due to the device not turning off.
Despite explaining this multiple times, I was dismissed, spoken to in a condescending manner, and treated as dishonest in front of other customers. This was both humiliating and unprofessional.
Store Manager John was present and did not intervene or assist in resolving the situation.
As a working professional and parent of two, I made time during my day to resolve this issue properly, only to be treated with disrespect and have a valid policy denied. March 22 is the 30 days up.
This experience does not reflect the level of service I expect. It was wrong, disrespectful, embarrassing, and humiliating. Never in my life have I ever been treated this way.
This is not acceptable. I hope this review encourages better training, accountability, and respect for customers moving forward.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
