First and foremost, I never write reviews, but this was my first time at this store and I needed new glasses ASAP. I was so grateful to be helped by Richard Singh. I usually bring a friend or family member with me because I’m incredibly indecisive when choosing frames, but Richard was so friendly and honest that he made the process super easy. If you’re looking for someone who will give you a straight answer and friendliness, I definitely recommend asking for Richard!

I went in because my eye glasses were badly bent. I asked if they did repairs, Eriks said yes, but warned me there was a possibility that they could break (the arm was pretty baby bent 😵💫).
She gave them to Miguel who did an amazing job! You could not tell that they had been bent before and they fit perfectly!
Go there! They are super nice and helpful!
I plan to go back when I get a new prescription!
Thank you Miguel & Erika!

So happy to have discovered this place. I went in with my own purchased frames. But there is certainly NO need to do this. They have an incredible selection of frames. Amazing designer frames. All cool and there for you. I saw at least 3 more that I would love to have. I had 2 pair of glasses made. With my new prescription, progressives. I originally opted for the slightly less expensive lenses. They were too thick. I learned that within 2 weeks Site for Sore Eyes with make adjustments for you. Brian took terrific care of me both times. He was very clear as to the cost of the thinner frames. Listen to him! Its not much more but SO worth it! NO need to go downtown for my frames. Right here in the neighborhood.
Terrific experience and easy parking. I highly recommend these guys....... Greg

Three pairs of my eye glasses were broken. I went to site for sore eyes at 300 West portal In San Francisco and talked to Brenda, a very pleasant woman. The first pair Jim fixed right away as it just needed a screw. He then told me that my other two pairs of glasses, 10 years old were. Eye Phorics, Swiss Flex and he did not know if he could get the parts I needed. He did not know anyone who dealt in these parts, the soft plastic parts that go on either side of the nose. So he looked it up on the computer to see if he could get the parts. Then he showed one of my pairs of glasses to Miguel. Miguel went into a drawer and found an old pair of these glasses and immediately took off the part and put it on my glasses. He then found another old pair of glasses somewhere else and took off that part and put it on my other pair of glasses. They must have worked with me for at least 20 minutes and maybe more and then they insisted on not charging me a penny. I insisted on paying them something but they declined my offer. From now on, I will be using site for sore eyes on West Portal and San Francisco. Thanks to Brenda, Jim and Miguel.
