  I brought in my silver Benedict sunglasses for some maintenance on Friday, 30JAN. The glasses are 12 years old and needed new "temple pads." I left the glasses to be worked on, and when I came back to pick them up, the glasses appeared fine - they replaced the entire temples on both sides and didn't charge me anything. However, when I got them outside in the sun, I realized that the replaced temples were each a different style, one gold with a gold tip, and one gold with a silver tip and not a Benedict piece, mounted to my silver frame. It is evident that random spare parts were put onto my glasses, when all I was asking for was new temple pads. Thankfully I decided to go back and get the old temples, and was able to put them back on my $500 glasses. I have had much better experiences and attention to detail at other Oliver Peoples boutiques.

  Lucas is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I did not feel rushed and appreciated his honest opinion. Great customer service and shopping experience!

  The store in San Francisco takes customer service and pride in one’s own profession to another level. I stopped by the store twice before purchasing a pair of sunglasses. Robert is very attentive, professional and patient. I was truly impressed with Robert’s customer service and knowledge. I second another reviewer’s comment about not wanting to go to another optical store.

  Oliver Peoples at Union Square offers a wide selection of both sunglasses and prescription lenses. The current staff under the supervision of store manager Lucas is warm, competent and welcoming. The store is bright, well lit and comfortable making the shopping experience and trying on frames really easy and pleasurable. I've been in Oliver people's customer for decades now and actually still have some of the earlier glasses that I bought, simply replacing the lenses as my prescription changed.
