    I started going to Perfect Workout two years ago at the age of 65. I started because I am convinced about the long term benefits for wellness that resistance training provides. If You don’t want to lose muscle mass later I. Life then you have to strength train now. It is never too late. I have been a runner for many decades and never thought about strength training. What I didn’t realize is how much strength training improves performance in all other areas. I don’t run as much as I used to but I am now running again without pain: my muscles are taking the strain and not my tendons. The other thing that completely surprised me is that I am now literally more muscular than I was as a young man. My wife notices when I flex! So overall it is a great program that I am super happy with. I have also been very impressed with all of the trainers I have worked with. They are professional and encouraging and I go much further and much harder than I ever would on my own. I recently switched to working with Cameron in the Rancho Bernardo studio and he is definitely the best trainer I have worked with so far. He is very creative in helping me Push for the extra effort. His encouragement is helping me get even stronger. If you get the chance to train with Cameron don’t miss the opportunity.

    Big shout out to trainer Gwyneth and Perfect Workout. I've been attending PW for 2 years and since joining have grown functionally stronger and enjoy much better stamina. Gwyneth is one of the best trainers I've had so far. I'm one of those clients who really needs to focus on interoception in order to perform my best and Gwyneth's approach is wonderfully supportive of my needs, ensuring that our 20 minutes together are used to the fullest. She's laser-focused on each and every one of the activities, giving me continuous feedback on everything from posture to speed to time remaining, and in a way that is encouraging and supportive. Workouts are tough, as they should be for this kind of training, but I do not feel unsafe, particularly with trainers like Gwyneth, who is highly observant and seeks my feedback on my condition. Highly recommend!!
