I had an amazing experience with Franky at the Mission Valley Lens Crafters location. He has superb customer service and doesn't let you walk away with lens that you don't absolutely love. I was even able to order prescription eyewear that wasn't available in store. They had to ship it from another location. I am so grateful for Franky. He truly wanted to make sure I looked and felt fabulous in my glasses. Thank you for hiring excellence.

I had the pleasure of having denise take care of me while I did my shopping. Her energy, professionalism, and expertise led me to spend twice as much as I intended -happily. She is the perfect example of why I have been shopping and have had my eye heath taken care of exclusively at lenscrafters for the past twenty five years. If Denise does not have a raise or free glasses for life, please provide her with both of them immediately. She is an amazing employee. Thank you!

I rarely write reviews this positive, but the team at LensCrafters really knocked it out of the park! Denise, the store manager, was amazing- she helped me navigate all my insurance and FSA questions with so much patience and kindness. My optometrist (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) was so upbeat and enthusiastic about eye health, which made the appointment actually enjoyable. And the person who did my pre-testing was fantastic- super friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. I usually hate going to the eye doctor and find it such a hassle, but this visit was such a pleasant surprise. I honestly won’t mind coming back next year after this experience!

I always dread going to the eye doctor. Not because of me having get my eyes checked but because I usually just want to go in and find a pair of glasses but end up paying for things I don't really need. Well I have to say Franky was the light of this office. He was so polite and efficient. He was actually recommending things and finding out what I could benefit from what I really needed not what would simply just look nice. He also knew a lot about what he was conveying and I love employees who really know their stuff! He is honestly such an asset to this office, I don't think I've ever left a lens crafters location and had such a good experience. Please continue to take care of Franky he definitely is taking care of his customers. This is actually a really nice location as well. Great selection of options to choose from. Overall all the staff is great including O.D Edgardo Cintron. I could tell he really cares about what is best for the patient. Just great staff, great location.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
