  I had made a booking through the GoodRun site that was confirmed on 9/11/25 for a reservation on 10/25/25. On 10/6/25, I was notified that my booking would be canceled because of a conflict that was not reflected on the GoodRun calendar. The calendar got corrected 10 days later on 10/16/25 and I was offered another time later in the day that unfortunately wouldn't work for my group. Hoop HQ looks like a great facility, and it was a bummer that the booking was canceled after it was confirmed and there wasn't a good alternative solution. Improvements to the booking system, including more real-time schedule updates and non-automated confirmations, and better communication between the facilities and potential customers, would be really helpful.

  We are so lucky we found this gym last Fall . My 6th grade daughter is new to basketball and when I talked to Yao, the manager, he encouraged us to try out the Fall League last year. We are so glad we did. My daughter has flourished with each program and coach. All the coaches she has worked with are supportive and caring. She has worked with Coach Spenser, Coach Jonathan and is now on the Girls Empower Team led by Coach Aaron and he is amazing. They all do an excellent job training the girls to do their best. She is learning how to work/train hard and enjoy the game.

  My friends and I were really into watching basketball and wondered if there was adult programs available. We were always the audience type so we needed a class that helped beginners get into the game in our 30s and 40s 😅. At the same time we found Hoop HQ had a class called Hoop Hustle that got us up to speed! Coach Noel, offers great tips and drills that make us improve every second. San Diego has an AWESOME and best basketball 🏀 gym, it’s called the Hoop HQ!

  Our son has been going to Hoop HQ for 2 years now, and we recently had his 7th birthday party there! The birthday party was such a hit since we booked a one-hour session with Coach Yau to run drills and a game for the kids. We love Hoop HQ because of the amazing coaches. My son loves Coach Noel since he is very good at keeping the kids engaged and excited to play. We would recommend Hoop HQ for anyone who is looking for a positive, instructional and fun place for kids to learn basketball skills and sportsmanship.
