During that year I had lots of work done on my teeth, including many fillings, deep cleanings, crowns, and root canals (referred out to another doctor). They certainly do push lots of procedures there, but my teeth were in pretty rough shape. They did a great job. Several of the staff were always kind and gentle with me like advertised. Although I can’t say the same for Dr Ellie herself, I’m glad she helped me get my dental health into better shape.

I have had dentists up and down California and have never had a better experience. All her staff are wonderful! Always make me feel comfortable and welcome. Before Dr. Ellie I dreaded the dentist but not anymore. She has a way of putting me at ease and my teeth have never felt healthier or looked better. Definitely recommended to anyone who is afraid of the dentist.

I went to this practice for over a year (kept thinking it must just be my bad dental health) and ended up paying more than I should have—until they tried to push veneers on me “for better teeth integrity,” quoting me over $5K. I decided to get a second opinion and went to a different practice, where I was told I absolutely do not need veneers. My new dentist explained that all I actually need are fillings, and that veneers are unnecessary unless I specifically want them for cosmetic reasons. This practice is very skilled at “doing business.” From the moment I walked in the door, I was upsold at every opportunity until the moment I left. If I refused, they would guilt-trip me with lines like, “But it’s really not great for your teeth, and I’m worried about the integrity.” I’m very glad I trusted my instincts, sought a second opinion, and found a better dental practice.
