  BEWARE!! They will take your money if you let them. Due to a 5 star google rating and how relatively close it was to my apartment. I wanted to give this place a try. After a couple appointments. I was soon to find a bill from Clairemont Dental group / Dr.yen with no key information on how the bill was price. Just payment amount! There were blank columns where it should clearly describe the insurance payed amount and what I am responsible for. RED FLAG. (There couple more red flags during my visits. Unsanitary rooms and the way they bend corners during procedures!) I went to Dr. Yen and told her there has to be mistake for the amount billed and what she told me was. “ I have no info on the bill this is what the insurance had told her”. Straight lie to my face. So I called my insurance and it turns out that she was over charging me and not the correct amount I was responsible for! I would give 0 stars to a shady business like this. There are more horrible reviews on yelp. I had to give a google review. She should be reported to the dental board of San Diego. Stay far away from here!
