Transfered my prescription from CVS after 7 years. Downloaded the Safeway app, the pharmacy is linked within same app making it convenient. I also get digital coupons and more savings on groceries. Saved $20 shopping for things I actually need unlike at CVS. I initiated the transfer on Safeway app and everything went smoothly. Picked up 3 meds and all info was correct, insurance and all. Paid less than $3. It never went this smoothly with CVS.

I've never dealt with a worse pharmacy. They rarely ever pick up the phone and there is almost always an issue with an order. On top of that, their phone number does not accept messages, so if no one answers, there is no way to leave a callback request. The last time I finally reached someone and asked why my medication was taking so long to process, I was told, “Sorry, we’re just really backed up and busy,” which seems to be the ongoing excuse. This is unacceptable for a pharmacy, where many medications are time sensitive and critical to a person’s health. The consistent lack of responsiveness and repeated problems make this location unreliable and stressful to deal with.

This is not a good pharmacy. They have SO many staff doing absolutely nothing. I have had to come back multiple times to pick up medications due to them being out for 1 hour in the day, due to them not having things ready, or just having 1 pharmacist. Their text system is slow and used differently by staff. They take a long time to fill orders and to get back to you. Getting on the phone with staff is also difficult! I will be switching pharmacies ASAP!

I call in to ask when my medication is going to be ready and customer service there is so rude does not let you speak wants to tell you you are wrong about your medication refills even when you're holding the bottles in your hand and does nothing but argue with you and fight. This is all due to me being on pain medication for my back that has been an ongoing problem for years ever since I've moved to the Safeway I've had nothing but problems management has seemed to do nothing about it nothing has changed and every time I go in there it is a fight between me and then. I have called corporate more than one time I have reached out to their management team I have done everything in my power to make this run smoothly at this point I am changing pharmacies. I will say that ever since I left Safeway on Elk Grove this has been nothing but problems and I am sorry for whoever has to deal with them who goes through pain management and how to get any kind of narcotic pain medication this is discrimination with judgmental attitudes and pure harassment which can be followed up by a lawsuit this is not ethical further practice. This will be the last time I posted here for this company Safeway Pharmacy on Arden and Watt management and team is garbage

They always do their best to help, even though if they are out specific medicine and have to order it they will do their best to fill it as soon as possible.
Thank you 👍

Why is reviewing my Medicare plan every year important?
Reviewing your Medicare plan every year is important because Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) can change annually. These changes may affect your coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and provider network. By reviewing your plan during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period, you can ensure it still meets your healthcare needs and budget—and switch plans if necessary.
