  I had an appointment for annual blood work and had fasted as directed. This location has only one employee and he uploaded codes for the tests ordered and indicated one non-standard test needed code clarification, but he would contact the provider to get it sorted out. He never contacted my doc's office and he didn't pick up the phone when the doc's office called him. Perhaps feeling rushed by a full waiting room, he missed entering the code for another test, a very standard lipid profile. So, now I have to fast again and go back for a test that should have been run the first time. Although Quest locations are more convenient for me, I will go to Sutter instead. A lab location with one disinterested and likely overwhelmed employee isn't for me and neither is the corporation that chooses to run their operation that way.

  Don't bother if you don't have an appointment, (impossible to book day of) they don't do walk ins. Even if the whole lobby is empty and they don't have anyone in there, and it's one blood test, they won't see you.

  The phlebotomy tech was outstanding! Said he had 25 years experience and it showed! Clean and fast!
