  We have been getting massages here since we moved to Sacramento, for years now. We are both athletic and aging so we go to alleviate aches and deep muscle pains. This is not an oiled Swedish massage that is a skin rub. He does accupressure massage, so we feel it and breathe through it. Gouji is our go-to. He works out the pain points amazingly. Hands down the best therapeutic massage.

  I had booked a couples massage, drove 50 mins to get here only for her to tell me that she doesn't have staff available and we would have to go after one another. Highly unprofessional when she could have told me day of booking or even called the morning of. As a business just be upfront about what is offered. Wasted our time and gas driving up here.

  I have been coming to Mae's for years and it's legit, but note it's ACUPRESSURE not oiled up day spa relaxing massage. If you need real work done and you can handle it, come here.

  I had no idea what massage we were going to get because the massage was not told to us and the guy that performed the massage did not speak English. I thought it was a couples massage but we were massaged separately an hour each. We were massaged with a sheet. no oils, no nothing. just firm presses down my back, spine, legs, arms, hands, feet and head. I held back tears. It was a very painful massage to say the least. We paid good money and gave a great tip. Our backs are in so much pain after this massage. I do not recommend and I will not be returning. I didn't feel very welcomed either but out of respect I didn't say anything. This may work for some people ( as some reviews state) but it wasn't for us.
