Had my prescriptions switched here after a nearby rite aid closed. Pharmacy techs are friendly but inexperienced (tried to give me the wrong medication once), pharmacists have been curt on the phone and seem overwhelmed by the workload. In addition to this it takes forever to get medications filled and I've had numerous times I've called in and they didn't have a particular medicine and I had to wait days for it to show up. Switching pharmacies now and even that has been an ordeal. I love Safeway for shopping so the pharmacy being so subpar has been a huge disappointment. Would not reccomend.

I have been going here since the store opened and have found the staff courteous and my meds are ready. There are long lines sometimes but I just have come to realize perhaps right after work is not the time to go. Going in the morning or weekends are best.

On a good note, the technician Marcella(I think that was her name) was very kind, very understanding, and very helpful.
On the other hand, pharmacist Shanaaz was complete opposite. She was very rude, hung up mid conversation and was agitated when called back. She was not very understanding either. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but her attitude was completely uncalled for.
