  I was there for a routine cleaning. I was surprised when Jackie took me back. She said the Hygienist I thought was going to do the work was only a temporary. This cleaning I had was the most intense and painful one I have ever experienced. I’m sure she was good but she did not floss my teeth or offer me the fluoride treatment at the end. Honestly my mouth hurt so much I just wanted to go home and reflect on the unpleasant experience. I tired to understand the process but I could not justify the level of discomfort. I know inspite of my deligent effort to work on the plaque that builds up it’s a tedious job to remove it. My face, hair and the water ran down my neck wetting up my breast area only added to my discomfort. This comment is to hopefully spare the next patient the ordeal I experienced.

  Staff was very nice and pleasant. My dental person was excellent. Did not try to take advantage. Gave me her honest opinion. Very nice and accommodating.

  Capitol Periodontal is a great place to go for any dental work you need done. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. Dr. Rahsheed performed my gum graft and was very warm and caring. He saw how necessary it was to get it done as soon as possible and got me in within four days! I highly recommend Capitol Periodontal!!!

They may need to perform surgery. But the service doesn't end there. Post surgery follow up care is designed to maintain your surgical benefits. I would recommend this practice to anyone with this need.

  My first appointment was very positive with both Dr. Paul and his assistant, Naynay. On the day of the surgery, I was very nervous, especially because I have problems with regular anesthesia. However, Dr. Paul used the perfect anesthetic. Renne and Michelle played relaxing music for me and provided a blanket and a small pillow, making the surgery more comfortable. During the surgery, Dr. Paul frequently asked me how I was feeling. The surgery was over very quickly, and everything went very well. Everyone in the office is very considerate of the patients.
