  I recently had a general check-up where I only asked a few questions and was told that additional tests would be done only if necessary. However, I just received a bill for $1085, and my insurance only covered about 30%. I don’t understand how a simple visit like this could cost that much. I find it hard to believe that this kind of visit justifies such a high charge.
