I absolutely love this Club Pilates studio! The instructors are incredibly experienced, supportive, and attentive. They always take the time to correct form, offer modifications, and make sure everyone feels confident during class. Their positive energy makes every session enjoyable. The manager is also wonderful — very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. She creates such a warm atmosphere that makes the studio feel like a community. Highly recommend this location!

Just wanted to share a thorough review and expectation for anyone with new workout class anxiety. I signed up for the free intro class online and just showed up with no preparation or even socks. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, and they had a nice sock selection to purchase from (all around $20-pricey but they are nice quality). My expectation for the intro class was that they were going to introduce you to all the equipment and some basic moves, but it really just ended up being a short class. This was nice in that you really got a feel for what it was going to be like before signing up for a membership, but it also would have been helpful to have been given a little more foundational knowledge. For instance, I didn’t know you could adjust for height until an instructor mentioned it to me during my third class (I’m 5’10 and just move the table thing back one notch). They also use some terminology that I wasn’t familiar with, but you can catch on quickly. If you’re worried about not knowing the moves or looking silly…it’s possible, but the only person that has laughed at me has been myself. The way you learn is basically to look around and see what everyone else is doing and the instructor will help you out if you don’t catch on. They do their best to watch everyone’s form and make corrections, but just know that the classes can be pretty full and they can only do so much. Generally everyone has seemed kind, supportive, and helpful. The memberships themselves are my biggest criticism. They’re expensive, but the prices seem standard/competitive to other Pilates studios. I wish there were more package options offered or that they were more flexible. My package right now is 8 classes per month, and if you don’t use them all during your billing month, then you lose them. So I think having a membership requires you to have some flexibility in your work/life schedule. For instance, if you’re restricted to level 1 classes, then they’re only going to be offered during certain times of the day, and the weekend classes are filled faster than the weekday classes. Just something to keep in mind before committing yourself to 3 months of a membership. Overall I’ve been happy enough from the experience that I just upgraded my membership from 4 classes to 8 classes within the first month.

I love my Pilates class at Redwood City Club Pilotes. I have a wonder teacher, and great equipment. It is always clean. I am a senior and have progressed amazingly since starting the classes.

I had a very disappointing experience at the front desk of the person who was very rude . I drove over 35 minutes through heavy traffic to attend a class here. Unfortunately, I arrived just three minutes late, and the staff at the front was extremely rude and unprofessional. The policy mentioned a five-minute grace period, yet I was denied entry and told I was “too late” even though it had only been a minute minutes. The staff member’s attitude was unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, with no understanding or courtesy extended at all. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at Club Pliates For anyone considering joining this location, I strongly recommend being cautious before enrolling. It’s important to be aware of how poorly the front desk treats paying guests and how inflexible and unkind they can be.
