  I've been going here for over two years and it's been getting progressively worse. You think that a place that deals with people at their most vulnerable would hire professional, compassionate staff, but no. There's a specific receptionist who is incredibly rude and has the worst imaginable attitude towards patients. I don't know her name but she kinda looks like Sarah Silverman and seemingly uses superglue to attach her eyebrows to her face. She is the reason I will no longer be going back to this place, absolutely disgusting behavior. They will also charge outrageous amounts of money for the most basic of things without first telling you of the cost. They make it seem like it's all included but then you get hit with the bill weeks later. I went in for a 5 minute appointment just to get a prescription refilled, and it ended up costing over $1000! Rude staff and hidden charges, I would give zero stars if I could.

  I send a care compliment to Dr.Azzawi and Nurse Jacqueline on UCLA website and still want to share the care I got to here. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the exceptional care and support during my treatment. I became Dr. Azzawi’s patient in July 2025 after developing a widespread rash over my entire body. The severity of the symptoms made it extremely difficult for me to live a normal life. Constant itching and anxiety took over my daily routine, and I often could not sleep through the night, waking up repeatedly due to intense itching. My physical condition and mental well-being were both greatly affected. After visiting the UCLA Emergency Department, I was referred to Dermatology, where I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Azzawi. From the very first in-person visit, I could feel her warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness. She carefully listened to my history, conducted a thorough evaluation, and provided clear and confident medical judgment. A skin biopsy was performed to determine the underlying cause, and I was treated with oral steroids and topical medications to help relieve the symptoms. Because my condition was difficult to control with conventional treatments and continued to worsen, the biopsy results ultimately confirmed eczema. Dr. Azzawi made the experienced and timely decision to recommend Dupixent and helped initiate the prior authorization process with my insurance. I understand that obtaining approval for this medication can be complicated and time-consuming, and throughout this process, both Dr. Azzawi and Nurse Jacqueline A were incredibly responsible, patient, and supportive. They provided tremendous help with prescriptions, insurance coordination, and follow-up care. I have now been on Dupixent for five months. After about six weeks of treatment, my eczema improved dramatically, and my condition has remained very stable since then, with only occasional mild flare-ups. The improvement has truly changed my quality of life. I feel extremely fortunate to have been cared for by Dr. Azzawi and Nurse Jacqueline A. Their expertise, dedication, and compassion made a profound difference in my recovery. I truly believe that my condition would not have come under control so quickly without their help.   I had a very disappointing experience at this facility. Despite presenting with clear symptoms, my strep throat was misdiagnosed, and I was denied a preventative prescription. I subsequently visited another urgent care where a rapid test came back positive immediately. Furthermore, the staff's conduct was unprofessional and lacked the empathy expected in a medical setting. I hope management considers retraining their team on both diagnostic accuracy and patient bedside manner.
