After spending over an hour on the phone with my insurance provider, I learned that I do have coverage, including a $1,000 deductible for hearing aids. However, this information was not communicated properly by the staff at the office. Ultimately, I was quoted prices that were not reflective of my actual coverage, and it felt like my concerns were dismissed. My wife, who accompanied me, ended up missing work for a visit that turned out to be unnecessary. While I understand that new staff may need time to adjust, it is critical for a healthcare provider to ensure accurate communication and proper handling of insurance matters. I ended up needing hearing aids and when I went to pick up my hearing aids I was shown how to use them and connect them to my iPhone. Great staff and I was treated with compassion adjusting to getting hearing aids for the first time being 61 years old. Brenda Ramirez was very nice & professional. Karen was wonderful scheduling my appointments and was very nice!
