  I went to Target Optical yesterday at around 6 PM on Monday, November 17. I was looking at these Oakley eyeglass frames. I asked one of the workers there, the Hispanic girl, to just wipe down the eyeglass frames for me before I try them on. She didn’t seem considerate or nice about it. In fact, she wiped it down, but she didn’t wipe it very well. And I told her that there’s still some solution on the lenses. So I just told her to give me one of those lens cloth and I’ll wipe it down myself. She wasn’t very friendly and welcoming. Because of this experience, I would never go back to this Target Optical, even though it’s the closest to where I live. I’d rather go somewhere else where they actually have great customer service.

  Horrible experience. The old lady that helped me was very unprofessional. She didn’t explain things thoroughly. She was adding on things to my lenses without asking me, which increased the price. It seems like they work off commission. The first pair of Oakley's I purchased had a curvature that made the view like a fish bowl. She blamed my prescription strength and said it had to do with the frame and lens width. If this was known before I purchased the glasses, why wouldn’t I be informed so I can make a calculated decision? My prescription strength is pretty high, so I always go with the thinnest lens possible. I explained this to her, and yet she still didn’t apply the thinnest lens on my order, Although I asked her multiple times before ordering the glasses just to make sure, Being that I have a high prescription. I also wanted a rolling polish to get rid of the thickness on the edges of the lenses, which I explained was important to me prior to ordering the glasses, And that wasn’t applied. Anyway, I was very dissatisfied with the outcome of my classes and wanted to exchange them for a different pair and get the correct lenses in the new pair. The replacement pair of glasses had a defect in the lenses, Which happened to be an internal scratch, so I had to return those And exchange them for the same ones. The third pair of glasses didn’t have the rolling polish to cut down on the thickness of my lenses, so I asked to have them replaced again in hopes that it would be correct on the fourth try. Well, I got the fourth pair of glasses and they were still defective and didn’t have the rolling polish. After four times I just asked for a return. The employee seemed to be bothered by this, which was very Unprofessional. The younger lady with the dyed hair also seemed bothered when she was assisting me with the exchanges between glasses. As if it was my fault, they were coming in defective. She was Also unprofessional When I was exchanging my glasses. I only got a partial refund and now that I’m trying to call The optical center. I can’t get through over the phone. Nobody seems to be working there. I’ve been to plenty other target opticals and never had a bad experience like this. Which is why I choose target optical. It is clearly this location and the staff there that created my bad experience. I still have yet to receive my second refund for the upgraded frames I I ordered.

  Dr. Chang is awesome. Very thorough and she explained things well. Vanessa was amazing, so helpful, and knew how to keep you within your price range.
