    Wow Ray is a wonderful instructor. I suffer from scoliosis, poor posture and weak hips from a previous injury. Ray took the time to tailor a plan specific to my needs. He introduced me to ELDOA method and I am now a huge fan. I have been incorporating the stretches and workouts he recommended daily and my back feels so much more supported and my posture has improved. I also have much better mobility in my hips. I highly recommend Ray and looking forward to many more sessions.

    Awareness training popped up for me when I started looking for workout coaches and went through his website and Instagram. He definitely makes you feel welcome and comfortable in person and motivates you with no judgement. I've worked in group settings with workout coaches that often overlook your posture and movement. I genuinely enjoyed training with Ray, his approach is unlike anything I have experienced before. He was the first person to introduce me to ELDOAs and breathing techniques for certain exercises. I joined a home workout program that he was offering when I first met him. He explained all movements thoroughly, making it easy to understand and do. Weekly check ins and motivation was something that I needed and luckily enough the program already included that. If you've had a bad experience in the past with a trainers, Ray will change that. He is definitely someone that you will enjoy working with and gives you the extra push if you ever need it. He's helped me gain confidence with my body and movements and I am forever thankful!

    Ray Martinez is the real deal. I genuinely enjoy training with him and can say firsthand that his approach is unlike anything I have experienced before. Ray was the first person to introduce me to ELDOA, a specialized stretching method that has made a noticeable difference in my sleep and energy levels. That alone was worth it. What sets Ray apart is how unique and intentional his training style is. He does not give you a cookie cutter program. Everything is tailored to your body and your goals. If you are looking for a trainer who actually understands how the body works as a whole, Ray is your guy. I highly encourage anyone looking to move better, feel better, and get real results to reach out to Awareness Training.

    My most recent work with Ray involved a home workout program. He explains all movements thoroughly, making it easy to understand and do them properly, also offering regressions. The information provided for nutrition, exercises and general wellness was not only helpful for the program itself, but set the groundwork for me to continue on my own. It’s not a struggle to eat better and make better choices, they come naturally now. I’ve gained confidence in my movements and noticed considerable decrease in pain and increase in mobility for my legs and back. As an added bonus my clothes have started fitting better!

    I’ve done workouts before, but this has been a completely different experience. What I appreciate most is how much time and care goes into my training. It’s not just “here’s a workout, go do it.” Every session feels intentional, and everything is adjusted based on how I’m feeling that day, especially with the little aches and pains I used to just push through.
