- RWR WANGJul 20, 20261.0I had a poor experience here and wanted to share it for others to consider. I had previously ordered two pairs of glasses from this location. Recently, for personal reasons, I needed to obtain my pupillary distance (PD) measurement and have the prescription of my old glasses checked—a process that is very quick and takes less than ten minutes. However, the staff here refused to assist me, stating that doing so would violate the policy and that they could only provide this service if I were to order new glasses from them again. This sounded quite unreasonable to me, because I was able to have both things done at another large optical store shortly afterward. I'm also a returning customer there, and they only charged a small fee for the PD measurement—they even checked my old lenses for free, and never mentioned any policy violation. I find it hard to believe that a major chain like that would be unaware of such regulations. I'm not sure whether other LensCrafters locations handle post‑sales service the same way, nor do I understand what rule would be broken by spending a few minutes measuring old lenses. To me, this is a simple courtesy that shouldn't be made into a big issue. I hope they can be more flexible in addressing their customers' needs.
