Avoid the LensCrafters location inside Place Montreal Trust- 1500 McGill College Ave, Montreal, Quebec H3A 3J5. I placed my order with LensCrafters on 11/05 for in-store pickup. According to Purolator tracking, the package was delivered to the store and signed for at 11 AM on 15/05. Since then, nobody at this location has been able — or willing — to explain where my prescription glasses are. This entire experience has been unacceptable from start to finish. I contacted customer service multiple times through phone and online chat, and every single interaction ended the same way: no answers, no accountability, no resolution. Chats were disconnected, calls were ended, and I was repeatedly pushed aside instead of helped. Not one person took ownership of the situation. I personally contacted Purolator myself, and they provided proof of delivery, including confirmation that the package was signed for at the store. At that point, the responsibility falls entirely on LensCrafters. A customer should not have to investigate their own missing order while the company refuses to act. What makes this worse is that these are PRESCRIPTION GLASSES — a necessity for daily life — not some random online order that can wait weeks. Yet LensCrafters expects me to wait through another “4 business day investigation” and then another 7+ business days for replacement shipping after I already waited long enough for the original order. Completely unacceptable. I was never provided with proper follow-up emails, case numbers, investigation summaries, or written confirmation after speaking with customer service. Every interaction led nowhere. This company seems more focused on avoiding responsibility than actually helping customers. At this point, I seriously question how a package can be delivered, signed for inside the store, and then suddenly “disappear” while nobody can provide answers or urgency. That reflects extremely poorly on the store’s internal handling and customer care. People trust LensCrafters with essential prescription eyewear, and this experience completely destroyed that trust. Stay local and support businesses in your own community for eye exams and eyewear instead of dealing with this level of incompetence, disrespect, and lack of accountability.

Today’s morning I realized that I forgot to bring my contact lens in my international work travel to Montreal and the LensCrafters folks saved my week. It’s my great pleasure to report how nice they attended me and solved my problems. Obrigado!

I’ve been having issues with my eyeglass prescription and adapting to glasses from another optical shop, so I decided to go with them even though it was more expensive, so I could test it properly. However, I didn’t adapt to the glasses within the 30-day guarantee period, and on the last day I requested a refund because I couldn’t get used to them and preferred to keep my old ones. They refunded me without any issues — excellent service.

I recently this LensCrafters and had a really positive experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to offer help without being pushy. I didn’t go in for an eye exam, but I was impressed with the service for contacts. The team was knowledgeable and took the time to help me find a pair that suited my needs and fit comfortably. They gave honest opinions and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a great selection of frames at different price points. I never felt rushed, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and professional. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely recommend LensCrafters in Montreal if you’re looking for quality eyewear and helpful customer service.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
