Unfortunately, I found several significant issues with his practice that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, Dr. Elmer A. Jumig was unable to provide an accurate diagnosis for my children despite thorough symptom descriptions. This lack of precision left me questioning his competence as a medical professional. Moreover, the absence of a secretary to handle prescription requests caused significant inconvenience. It resulted in lengthy waits at the pharmacy, wasting valuable time that could have been better utilized for my children's care. Additionally, I was disappointed by the doctor's reluctance to prescribe appropriate medication. He primarily relied on suggesting generic drugs like ibuprofen and Tylenol, which are easily available without a prescription from any pharmacy. This approach seemed unprofessional and lacked personalized care. In conclusion, my experience with East Bay Pediatric Primary Care fell far below my expectations. The inaccurate diagnoses, inefficient prescription management, and limited medication options raise serious concerns about the quality of care provided. I encourage other parents to consider alternative options when seeking reliable and competent pediatric care for their children.

He never insisted on unnecessary medications and addressed all of our concerns and questions every visit. Dr. Jumig was alway able to accommodate last minute appointments and scheduled them in a way that there was very minimal wait, which is crucial with a baby or toddler. I can’t recommend Dr. Jumig enough and I can only hope we will find the same caring pediatrician now when we are in Florida.
