Justin helped me fit my old lenses on new almost the same frames. He helped me without even asking if I was even an existing customer, no charge. Needless to say, even if I wasn't a customer, I will be in the future.

I bought a pair of prescription glasses from the Valley Fair Mall at Santa Clara. After wearing the new glasses for a day, it wasn’t as comfortable as I remembered when I first tried them on. So I stopped by the Pleasant Hill locations since it’s closer to my home, and hoping to return them. Ana listened to my concern and went around the store to pick out multiple frames for me to try on. Thanks to her, I was able to select a new frame that fit me much better!

I came in yesterday for a routine eye exam as I had been noticing blurred lines (Which I found out were called floaters) in my vision. I was pretty shocked to learn from tests that I could have had a potential retinal detachment. The staff responded with exceptional professionalism and compassion, immediately advising me to seek care from a specialist whom they referred. They reassured me that billing/insurance concerns could be addressed at a later date as the day was coming to an end, and to put my health first. WOW. I am deeply grateful for the patient-centered approach demonstrated by the team. In an unexpected situation, I was provided with expertise and genuine human care, which made all the difference. Thank you all!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
