I had such a horrific experience at this location involving a crazy long wait and an incompetent technician who mangled my arm and was unable to do a simple blood draw. She gave up and sent me away. It was so bad that the next time I tried quest mobile, with the idea that I pay money for them to come to my house. The technician did not call to confirm. He showed up 20 min late without apology or greeting. I confirmed they told him I am a difficult stick (the whole reason I wanted to use their service) and his response was they try twice and that's it. I asked if they have the smaller needle as I discussed on the original call he said they have only one needle. Then he puts the elastic band on wrong so it grabbed all the skin. I yelped and rather than an apology or any expression of concern he handed the rubberband (yes, a rubberband) to me and asked in a very obnoxious way if I want to put it on myself which of course is impossible. I have a very large bruise from the "tourniquet," the first time that has ever happened. I then tried to show him the vein that everyone uses and he said he wanted to do it his way. He then handed me the needle and again asked me if I want to do it myself. He stuck me and of course there was no vein so he announced in a very arrogant manner that is one try, and if the second time does not work that's it. The second time he did it in the correct spot and it did work. There is more about how horrible and rude he acted but these are the highlights. When I complained to the company, "Afifah" told me to email her the details, which I did, but it has been over two weeks and of course no reply.

Trust the awful reviews people. This Playa Vista location is like an exaggerated comic book version of a horrible blood draw. Been to many Quests, never one like this. Stay away from the short lady (wouldn’t give me her name which is no surprise), she’s an absolute villain…she hates her job, the patients, and possibly herself. Just go to another location.

I had a great experience at this Quest Diagnostics location. I arrived for my 2:00 pm appointment on a Monday afternoon and the waiting room was completely empty. I checked in using the link they texted me about an hour before my appointment, which was quick and easy. Within five minutes, a very kind and professional phlebotomist (I unfortunately didn’t catch her name) called me back. There was initially an issue with my insurance being entered incorrectly, and I was told I had a $198 copay. I mentioned that I shouldn’t have a copay, and she immediately took a copy of my insurance card and resolved the issue within just a few minutes. She then drew my blood smoothly and without any issues. Despite the brief insurance hiccup, I was in and out in under 15 minutes, which was impressive. One thing to note: they do not validate parking. I recommend street parking if you can find an open spot in the two-hour zone near the parking garage entrance, or going to CVS or Whole Foods to have your parking validated. The Quest office is located at street level below CVS. Overall, efficient, friendly, and stress-free visit. Would definitely recommend this location.

When you arrive, you will be obligated to listen to advertisements for medications and other garbage on the television at a high volume. Please do not subject patients to your rubbish! This is abuse on your part!
