The doctors are excellent, but they have to deal with the usual UCLA challenge of scheduling as many people as possible. Patients equal income. It is very disrespectful of the patients (and this is all run by staff - the doctors do not create this nightmare). There is no option to call and see how the doctor's schedule is running so that you can come in when they will be available. It seems the office thinks that waiting for 2 hours for an appointment and then spending another 1.5-2 hours to accomplish the treatment is acceptable. There are many ways to solve this mess - efficiency in scheduling is the responsibility of management but this has been thus for years now. It's also cold in the offices and the dry cold air is very hard on anyone with dry eyes. The good name of the Doheny Eye Center is suffering from mismanagement and little interest in making the process less painful for clients. It's a shame.

I will never go back to this office, Very unprofessional eye doctors, they use UCLA name to promote their practice but they practice sucks.
Yeah appointment at 1:00 and we haven't even finished at 4:00 p.m. so we left.
Very rude stuff especially front desk. I was asking why should we wait 4 hours to treat the doctor they say usually text 3 to 4 hours. Then I told them like why nobody told us this and she was saying oh I'm telling you for next time so be prepared.
I have not seen in my lifetime in the doctor office to wait 4 hours, to see the doctors. That shows how greedy they are they overbook patients so they going to make more money they don't care about patients they care what their pockets.
Shame on you you call yourself professional.

I went to see a cornea specialist. I had a cataract surgery and ended up with no vision on said right eye. Dr. Hugo Hsu saw me and did surgery, after 2 days I got my vision back. I am very grateful to the expert Specialist and gave me my life back. Resumecd my driving and everything after 2 days

Appointments are delayed over an hour and they don’t validate parking forcing you to pay them $12
