TLDR; Read their billing thoroughly, and go to them 1 week in advance to understand what they will be charging you, especially on the things insurance may not cover.
---
As a dentist, they are fine, no better or worse than our other experiences.
But as a practice, they will lie and scam you in the billing. They told us that anesthesia is going to be covered by our insurance, and hence we should opt in for it. It was, but for a limited duration, and they went beyond that duration.
Worse, that was completely unnecessary. They charged for 45 mins of anesthesia, but the entire surgery was done within 15mins in my estimate, given that I could go visit my wife 25 mins after she went in.
And further, they charged us the full price for the anesthesia that Delta insurance didn't cover. So effectively, they accepted roughly half the rate (including Delta + our copay) for when insurance covered a procedure, vs when they insurance didn't, with us paying a much larger amount than we realized.
