Why is it that when you have an appointment for a specific time, get reminders from the office about that time, and you show up right on time or even early, then wait almost an hour to see a PA and you don't even get the slightest apology for them steeling an hour of your life. Receptionist was pleasant as was the PA, but unless there was an emergency, don' t leave patients hanging for an hour and then not offer up some type of excuse or apology. Just plain rude.

Very disappointed. The receptionist said my insurance was invalid and was too lazy to call United Health Care. I went to Walgreens to fill script and it was accepted immediately. Why should their system failure be my problem. They charged me $185 and I paid because I needed the care. I had a $25 co-pay. They will not hear the end of me and I will pursue because of their incompetence.

Took my 95 y.o. Mother to Palm Desert clinic for an arm X-Ray post a fall. We called, made an appointment, and we directly asked if they could do an X-Ray there and were told that they could. Drove my mom there only to be told once we were there that their only X-Ray machine was at there La Quinta clinic! 6.8 miles away in the opposite direction from her home! I asked what’s up with that!? Why not just tell a person by phone when appointment is being made that they had to go straight to the La Quinta clinic if an X-Ray was needed!? Mums the word! Which indicated to me it was some kind of distorted Corporate policy to not mention that when making an appointment specifically for an X-Ray. Ridiculous! What strategy can Corporate be thinking of that requires employees not to say X-Rays are done at the La Quinta clinic!? As far as I know, the only thing accomplished here by this deceptive practice is to have a very pissed off client that would be reluctant to try using a Carbon Health clinic again!!! My mom was too tired and we just had to go home! I pray that Carbon Health monitors reviews such as this one on Google since I would love to know what genius came up with this deceptive policy! Just absurd!!!

Everyone who helped me was super nice and professional, overall a good experience, clean environment. I’d definitely recommend them. I came in on a Friday afternoon, booked online and got an appointment within an hour, had to wait about half an hour when I got there but it was pretty quick, they helped me feel better after talking with the doctor and she prescribed what I needed right then. I paid out of pocket since my insurance wasn’t taken but I knew that ahead of time, just so grateful for the quick help and reassurance when I needed it. Thank you, carbon health team!

Clean, efficient, nice staff. The exception was when they called me back and we asked for a wheelchair. One was available, but the staff person refused and said "use your walker.." Instead, she should have asked about why we might need a wheelchair, rather than make an assumption about the patient's assistive device. Using my newly-borrowed walker was extremely exhausting, because I could not put any weight on one leg. It was a very slow and difficult way to ambulate with a broken ankle. It's critical that health care professionals exhibit curiosity about requests that seem weird or unnecessary, rather than make assumptions. (To her credit, the Practitioner did allow me to use the wheelchair to get to the car after the appointment.)
