I had such a pleasant experience at lens crafters, I went in today with a broken pair of sunglasses in hopes that they would be able to help me fix them. Nikki and Dane were patient and truly kind during the process, and were able to fix them. I will be returning in the future!

Really disappointed with the no service. I came in wasn’t greeted then I looked at glasses for 10 minutes, looking through drawers and trying a few on. 1 guy was helping another customer and he was giving really great service to him from what I overheard. There was 2 girl employees just chatting it up at the register (right next to me) about one of their weddings and planning things the entire time. I wasn’t once even acknowledged or helped. I came in planning to buy $600 pair of sunglasses. I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I want to preface this by saying I have never in my life written a review about any business. In my past experiences here, they push you to leave a 5 star review so I’m guessing that’s where the very undeserved high ratings are coming from. After being a customer of this store the entire time I have been wearing glasses, even though the service was never really great, I’m officially done with this place.
I have purchased three pairs of glasses and two pairs of sunglasses from this location. I have exclusively shopped here for some reason, even though I always found the majority of the employees to be a bit snooty. After coming in the store today and being completely ignored I’m done spending my money somewhere that has always treated me like an unserious buyer. I’m not sure if the employees here think they work at Chanel or something where they can make judgements on who is or isn’t actually going to make a purchase, but you work at an eyewear store, young people need glasses too.
I walked in the store around 5:30pm on Friday the 24th, there were people being helped at one of the desks, while the other employees wandered around aimlessly. I tried on several pairs of glasses while not even being greeted by either of the girls on the floor. I thought okay they probably act this way to everyone. Nope, a couple other groups walked in while I was there and they both got spoken to. When I saw the taller black woman walk past me to approach a different group, I walked out. I live 30 minutes away and drove here specifically for this. Maybe they thought because I was younger I’m not actually going to buy anything? It seems silly perhaps but I’m not going to give a business $1000 or more when they treat me like I’m in there playing dress up. Mind you this has not even been close to the first time I’ve been treated this way. Would much rather shop at a different store that is friendly and willing to help me.

Walked in twice to fix my glasses I didn’t even buy from LensCrafters and both the gentleman and woman employees were very helpful! Such a decent looked after store and they have a huge selection of beautiful glasses!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
